We are a small family run bed and breakfast with just two letting rooms. We offer a personal service with great attention to detail and hope to make your stay a 'home from home' experience. 

Although we are veggie, we still offer a good choice of food providing you with an excellent full cooked breakfast. We hope you never leave the table hungry! Much of our food is either fair trade or organic. We try to source local produce whenever possible. At certain times of the year our eggs are 'home grown', coming from our own free range hens! The yellowness of their yolks needs to be seen to be believed!

Visitors have full use of the lounge and front conservatory where they are welcome to watch the television, read books and magazines provided, listen to music, watch the birds feed at the bird table or just watch the sun setting on the fells opposite. Breakfast is also served in here overlooking the patio where you can be entertained by the wide selection of wild birds, including nuthatches, bull finches, long tailed tits, woodpeckers and occasionally the sparrowhawk. Sometimes we have rarer visitors such as badgers and deer.

Visitors are free to wander around the front garden, or can sit quietly by the pond listening to the sound of running water from the waterfalls whilst watching the fish.
