General Information and Booking Conditions

1. The main booking condition is that the cottage must be left clean and tidy upon departure, with due care being taken during your stay. Any breakages must be reported as soon as possible so that replacements can be arranged.

2. Holidays are Saturday to Saturday unless by prior arrangement. Arrival can be from 3.00pm onwards with departure by 10.30am on the final day.

3. A deposit of 1/3rd of the total tariff due as confirmation of a booking with the balance payable SIX weeks before arrival. All payments are non-refundable and we strongly recommend that appropriate holiday insurance is arranged.

4. The Coach House is STRICTLY for NON SMOKERS.

5. Pets are allowed by arrangement only. A refundable deposit is requested upon arrival to cover any extra cleaning costs. All refunds are sent to your home address after cleaning upon departure.

6. We are not VAT registered at this present time - all tariffs quoted are free of VAT.

7. Towels are available for hire. Please ask for further details.

We are making more effort to be 'green' in the cottage. Full insulation has been installed in the loft space, a multi fuel stove has been fitted in the living room and we have a new, hopefully more efficient, gas boiler.

Glass, cans, paper and compost can all be recycled in the containers provided. Unfortuantely, there are no longer facilities to recycle plastic in the village - the nearest place is at the recycling depo in Ambleside.
