Both bedrooms are situated upstairs, together with the bathroom. Both rooms have spectacular views towards Silverhowe and the south of the valley.
The double bedroom was extended slightly in early 2008 allowing better access to the bed. This work also incorporated the building of a new fitted walk-in wardrobe with integral lighting. The room is finished with pine cladding and lemon paintwork. There are also sea-grass drawer units for clothing etc and there is plenty of storage in the original fitted cupboard and under the bed for suitcase and bags etc.
The twin room has a double fitted wardrobe and free standing pine drawer units. Both beds are standard 3' devans. This room also has pine cladding and is finished in pink.
We use duvets in the cottage, but spare blankets and pillows are available in the airing cupboard if required. The beds are made ready for your arrival with fresh cotton linen throughout.
Also upstairs is the bathroom. This consists of a pedestal sink, WC and bath with a shower over. There is also an electric heater and a towel rail. Views are westwards towards Helm Crag.
Upon the landing there is an airing cupboard containing the boiler and spare bedding. The boiler is now a condensing combi boiler and will heat the water as it is required.
