The Lounge and Dining Area

The lounge has old traditional beams and exposed stone work giving the area plenty of character. There is a multi fuel stove (installed in November 2008) which provides extra warmth if required during the winter months, but makes a lovely focal point for the room. An initial supply of logs is available, please ask if we have forgotten to leave some for you. The fire is set in a dog grate style fireplace made of local slate. The dining table and chairs are at the further end of this room, as are the stairs for the rooms above. The lounge has two comfortable twin seater settees and a sofa bed (uncomfortable for sleeping on!), colour TV (and this will have Freeview once it is available in the valley), a CD/radio/cassette player, selection of CDs, books, and  jigsaws, some information of the area, together with details of local walks. If you would like any further information, come and see us and we will see if we can help!
